The man will still be alive today if he didn't lay his hands on his wife and fight her over food. Of course she's gonna defend herself esp. Against someone who's likely to be much more bigger & stronger. Everything was fine till he decided to "Complain" even after she gave him food. Im sure it even tasted good. She won't have eaten it if it didn't.
