Thief Thief- How Ahmadu Ali’s Son Forged Subsidy Document – EFCC's Witness

A witness for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC),  Chidi Onyedikwe, yesterday, informed a Lagos High Court in Ikeja how an oil marketer, Mamman Ali, allegedly forged some documents to facilitate a N4.4 billion fuel subsidy fraud.

Onyedikwe, who is the Lagos branch manager of Inspectorate Marine Services Nigeria Ltd, was testifying at the resumption of trial of Mamman, who is the son of a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),Ahmadu Ali.

Ali is facing trial alongside Christian Taylor, a Siera Leone national, Oluwaseun Ogunbambo, an oil marketer and Nassaman Oil Services.

The witness,while being  led in evidence by the EFCC counsel , Mr Francis Usani, said his company was in charge of checking the quantity and quality of petroleum products imported into the country.
