and OSU has to do with what thier ancestors did that is now hunting thier decendants------i have an uncle who married and osu thier house is not in our compound and his children automatically became OSU----the daugther fixed her traditional marriage i don already ready to do ashebi but on the said day of the marriage-----we no know who go tell the husband-to-be,the guy send message say them n dey cum again-------our youth now dosen´t care about it but,the system is too deep rooted to deal with.

This practice is passed on from generation to generation and it's a practice I sincerely think can be abolished in Igbo land. Though some go against all odds and marry but you and your entire generation down the line will be ostracized. What it means is that your children will not marry a son or daughter of the soil.
