Look we have big players who are playing in overseas onuoha etc they didn't went to play to Nigeria because of this suit but see some players if they went to play the can't bring all the mind and heart to play ball because the wat they treating them. Don’t forget how Yekini was treated also….
But do you have to play tribalism on this issue? Do you even know the history of football in Nigeria and the great players of yesteryears?
There are good and great footballers in every tribe. Nigeria has always been blessed with talents. It is not about one tribe it is about one country. Some of the players that won the 1994 African cup are still waiting for their dues and they are not from just one tribe… Many and many players from all tribes have been mistreated.
Let’s not forget those that pioneered football in this country, examples like; the great Thunder Teslim Balogun, Asquo Ekpe, Carl O’Dwyer, Patrick Olu Onagoruwa, Fabian Duru, Dejo Fayemi, Dan Anyiam, Sam Ibiam , Lawrence “Tailor” Omeokachie, Peter “Eto” Amechina, Jide Johnson, Amusa Shittu, Godwin Achebe, Sebastian Broderick, Paul Hamilton, Kenneth Olayombo, Peter “Esubio”Anieke, Eyo Essien, Muyiwa “Lucky Boy” Oshode, Tunde Disu, Haruna Ilerika, Inuah Rigogo, Joe Erico, Garba Okoye, Anthony Igwe, Sam Garba , Segun “Olu Rock” Olumodeji, Sam Garba, Josiah Dombraye, Ismaila Mabo, Yakubu Mambo, Victor Oduah,, Peter Fregene, Sam Opone, Christian Chukwu and so many more..it is a long list…they were all not well rewarded for their patriotism.
Would have said anything if Emenike came from another tribe? The answer is no…
You are one of the problems of this country… get rid of tribalism sh_it out of your head and you’ll be a better person.
