What is this stuff that people keep associating the Igbo man with love for money and wealth? If I may ask, the ex Nigerian president that came to power with mere N20,000 and left office as one of the richest man in Africa is he Igbo? ReplyThe thieves and looters of the national treasury since 1980 all in the name of governance how many of them are Igbo men/women? The Igbo man talks about his money cos it signifies his sweat and struggle as no reasonable man/woman will watch while their struggle go down the drain without putting up a fight or ask why except when the wealth is a stolen one or made through dubious means. Am a very proud Igbo man. So you guys should give me a break on this mumbo jumbo money thing. ![]()

As far as I'm concerned the igbo people are the most hard working people in Nigeria. Facts has shown that wherever they take root they makw it a success. Think of the businesses they took to places like........... ALABA INTERNATIONAL, IDUMOTA, IDI-ORO. ETC.
