I don't support skin bleaching but let's try to reason out why people often opt out for such products. Countries like india associate dark skin with poverty. they don't even feature dark skinned indians in their songs or movies. Africans are also guilty. even back in primary school,we've all witnessed how light skinned pupils get more attention from teachers,even fellow students. If some one tells you that you look lighter even without making any effort,wouldn't you take that as a compliment?but if on the other hand,you were told that you look darker, you'll feel there's something wrong....  Light skinned people are treated with more respect,they are given more opportunities,they are even most times viewed as more attractive than their fellow brown or dark skinned folks. We just have to re-orientate our selves and accept our various skin  tone as africans and stop that color discrimination. until then,people will keep heading to the bleaching cream market.

Well reported.....Women (and some men) with different skin colours -all in the name of fashion and vogue. Illitracy and poverty in combination...... Yeye dey smell

This is just another  "bad belle" post primarily targeting  Tontoh Dikeh. Again, guess the the earlier people find better work do the better for them .

Coming to Bleaching and what not . its a well know fact that ther is a  tendency  for the fairer sex to aim at looking even fairer  as this makes them more attractive to the opposite sex

While i do not support excessive bleaching because of it negative consequences on dermal health and hygiene , I dont think it will be eazy to put an end to this in  a world that rates  the fairer skin higher than the less fair.   
Women are known  "polish up" their faces and skin for the same reason either they use toning or bleaching or anything else to do that, doesnt matter as the   goal is the same : To look fairer,  and as long as a  woman is a woman she  will always want to look fairer (beautiful)  and therefore more   .

Thanks for the post anyway. Red flag for excessive bleaching but plz leave Tontoh out of this for once  in a loooooooong  Time  !
