Real Madrid will face Qatari side Al Sadd in the Bernabeu Trophy on Thursday night. The sold out clash will also serve as a tribute match for Real Madrid legend Raul, who is currently in the books of Al Sadd.
The Spanish striker spent 16 seasons with the Whites before leaving to join Schalke 04 in July 2010 and then Al Sadd, two years later. This will be his first game at the Santiago Bernabeu since he left the club and is expected to receive a warm reception from the adoring fans.
The 36-year-old will play for Madrid for one half and then play the other half for his current club.
