The Delta State Police Command said it has arraigned one Victor Osakwe, a pastor, at the Asaba Magistrate Court for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting victims of over N20 million naira.
Charles Muka, DSP, the Command’s Acting Public Relations Officer (PPRO),disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Asaba, the state capital.
He said the pastor duped more than 20 people of both money and properties.
The PPRO also alleged that Osakwe was a fake pastor at the Holly Hill Zion Prophetic and Solution Ministry, Akwu Ofu, Asaba.
According to him, “Osakwe has been arraigned on a 20-count charges for frequently defrauding over 20 persons of a total of N20 million”.
“The Pastor’s mode of operation is to raise false alarm on death and imminent calamity on his unsuspecting victims to make them part with their cars and monies,” the police spokesman hinted.
He had been remanded in the prison custody, listing items recovered from him to include two jeeps, two saloon cars, among other items.

leave this man alone, all pastors in nigeria are fakes and anyone who wakes up on a sunday morning and go to give their hard earn money or property to them is an idiot..However, if we are to arrest this guy,then we have to arrest all the other religious criminals we have in nigeria...tb joshua,adeboye and the other irks of various religious criminal enterprise.The real fools are the people who think they can prevent death by given their properties to another person.
