A frenzy has begun at a mosque in Lagos as worshippers report the appearance of a former cleric on the wall of the building.
The Ilogbo Central Mosque is said to have received thousands of visitors after a face said to be that of late Sheikh Ibrahim Niass appeared on the outer wall of the place of worship.
The appearance of the face of the face of the renowned ‘Alfa’, who died 39 years ago, has been described as a blessing to all Muslim faithful.
Reportedly, an eye witness who simply gave his name as Mustapha said the mysterious appearing of Niass was a blessing to Muslims and Nigeria. Mustapha said:

“I went to the Ilogbo Central Mosque and saw a huge crowd, both Muslims and Christians. I saw people using “Pure Water” to wash some parts of the Mosque, and allowing the water to fall into their container.
Those without container used handkerchief in cleaning the wall before using it on their body, saying it will heal their sickness.
The face of late Alfa Niass was just appearing on different parts of the wall at Ilogbo Central Mosque, and shortly it will disappear.
As at 1pm (yesterday) that I got here, the crowd was too much. Even when the police saw the crowd that came, they had to go back. Some of us who had wanted to pray in the mosque could no longer pray because of the crowd.
Common sense is indeed not common.

I really wonder why u ppl r judging us bcos of d action/mode of washing adopted by very few frm some of our Muslim brothers. Or if I may ask, r u trying to tell us dt all d Christians r purified by God? r they all doing wht God ask dem to do? Pls u ppl shld go nd find d real teaches of Islam 4 u 2 knw wht Islam is all abt. Christianity/Bible never teaches u to condemned d whole Islam just bcoz of a little ignorance frm some of them. Pls let's respect each other for d sake of peace of our country.
