INEC will use corps members in future elections?The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the past experienced embarrassment after elections as a result of the actions of ad-hoc staff employed to conduct elections. Most of them picked the job for pecuniary gains and exhibited neither loyalty, nor service to the nation. Consequentlly, INEC as an institution has decided to use members of the National Youth Service Corps {NYSC} to conduct future elections .

Lagos Resident Electoral Commissioner {REC} Mr. Moses Ogbe told Saturday Sun that the electoral body will meet with the directors of the NYSC to formalise discussions on the plan.
