Of the 1,645 people who made it to the 2014 FORBES list of the World’s Billionaires, 9 of them are black, up from 7 a year ago.

Nigerian cement tycoon Aliko Dangote is still the richest black person in the world, and he’s the richest by a long shot – $9.7 billion richer than Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Al-Amoudi.

This year, Nigerian oil tycoon Folorunsho Alakija joins American TV mogul Oprah Winfrey and Isabel dos Santos of Angola as the only black female billionaires on the FORBES billionaires list. Click the link below to view the 9 richest black people on earth:

WITH THE FEAR OF GOD AND RESPECT FOR HUMANITY. IN ALL HONESTY LET'S FACE THE SIMPLY FACT. YOU DON'T RATE SOMEONE OR PEOPLE CONNECTED TO GOVERNMENTS AS RICH PEOPLE BECAUSE THEIR WEALTH IS GOTTEN FROM STATE FUNDS. IT IS CORRUPTION AND INHUMANE.

PEOPLE LIKE ISABEL DOS SANTOS. HER FATHER IS THE PRESIDENT OF HER COUNTRY AND HIGHLY CORRUPT. SHE TOOK THE ADVANTAGE OF HER FATHER’S POWER TO SIPHONED STATE FUNDS FOR HER OWN SELFISH PURPOSES.

FOLORUNSHO ALAKIJA WAS THE SEAMSTRESS OF THE LATE MARYAM BABANGIDA, GENERAL BABANGIDA'S WIFE. THEY CONNIVED AND DUPED THE COUNTRY (NIGERIA) OUT OF BILLIONS AND OWNING OIL BLOCKS FOR THEIR SELFISH USE WHILE INNOCENT NIGERIANS SUFFER IN ABJECT POVERTY PARTICULARLY IN THE NIGER DELTA AREAS.

THEY ALL EMBEZZLED STATE FUNDS AND USED THEM TO ENRICH THEMSELVES WHILE POOR PEOPLE SUFFER.

you obviously dont know anything about nigeria. dumb fellow. nigeria is not poor. a lot of people in nigeria can comfortable buy you and ur family and will still survive for over 50 years so get ur facts right before u talk. fool
