The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the police action against members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Ekiti earlier today was done to maintain l”law and order.”

PDP Publicity Secretary, Olisah Metuh told SaharaReporters by phone that members of the PDP returning from a massive rally headlined by President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday came under attack today by APC members, therefore necessitating police intervention to protect party members subjected to mob attack from the rival party.

Mr. Metuh promised to provide evidence of the attack on PDP members to Saharareporters but had not done so as at the time of publishing this report.

Is there no good news to cheer us up or at least to give us hope that Nigeria will not descend into anarchy!
