The answer is capital NO. Not as long as I can birth myself, cloth myself and even smile to whoever i want to smile to and frown to whosoever i want to frown at. It is my life so i will make the choice myself cos if it comes out good I will praise myself but if goes the other way round I will also blame myself rather than pushing the blame on them.

Several years ago it use to happen that parent will impose partner, who many people want arrangy partner what if the parent are no more, you lone will go through the pain for me I can allow that for real.

not at all wil i allow my parent to impose my partner on me cos im the one who wil spend the rest of my life with him and not them so why should they impose my partner on me and in most cases it is usually some one u dont know or u know a little about,ur partner is some one u know and trust in and not just some strangers ur parent try to impose on u just cos of their selfish purpose or cos of some stupid tradition.

@shadowdhenchman, my brother God go bless you cuz you just talk my heart. its totally asured and uncivilised but its so unfutunate av got those for a parent and to think my ma has masters and my dad a prof makes me sick to the stomic and worst of all thiers did same 4them nd i grew up knowin they never was happy btwn themselves nd now dey want make me miserable plainly put,"twill take a gun and a bullet" 2do dat.

hell no. why? cuz they are not the ones getting married and they not the ones who'll have to put up with him or her. My parents wouldn't even dare think of something like that....they know better lol
