Since the sex of a child is determined by the sperm of the father; if a male child is truly needed it is SHE who needs to reconsider her choice of mate.  If HE takes another wife, he will make another daughter.  Where are you in the genetics stuff?  Catch up!!  It is the husband who is spouting out the girls, not the wife.

Hell No! Marrying a second wife for a Male child is ignorance mixed with stupidity. For goodness sake if a Man understands he has the chromosomes dat determine the sex then he'll do better things in his life than create two Unhappy women. First and foremost, scientifically, it's the man's semen that determines the sex of a child, hence, the whole responsibility lies on man. But 
one thing we all admit is that it is GOD that gives children, therefore NO MAN can really determine the sex of his child, science or not...
I said this because trully speaking, there's no man on this earth either white, black, caucasian, mulatto, indian etc. that does not secretly yearn for a male child. Even among the women-folk, no woman will say she's entirely happy giving birth to only girls.Therefore, if the sole responsibility of determining the sex of the child lies with the man, then every man will have at least a male child among his off-springs!
So, my point is this, inasmuch as I did not support this guy's attitude of beating his wife OR the issuing of marrying a second wife because of a male child, I strongly believe that both female and male child is the best for one to have in a family. In conclusion, any man or couple that finds themselves in this situation should just turn to medical experts and again pray to GOD....and I believe everything shall works out fine....

wel having male or female child is gud....but i didnt see a reason why a man can marry cos of a male child, thats stupid act.....depends on what u give and god plans ,what of people that phyuk 10 girls still noting, people should not prove god.he has a reason for all his doings.

i will neva do such a thing.you know a child is a child wether a boy or a girl,they all have advantages and disadvantages in our life time so its just the same.

will advice those who have baby girls,please stop blaming yourselves thats god wish he have got reasons for that so please love your wives the way you love them before marriage.
