Charleston Shooting: Dylann Roof Tried To Kill Himself Immediately After Killing Church Worshipers

It has been revealed that Dylann Roof, who killed 9 people in a church in Charleston, California, planned to die along with them.

This was revealed by Kevin Singleton, the son of one of the victims, Myra Thompson.

“He pointed the gun at his head and pulled the trigger, but it went ‘click’. His plan was never to leave that church.”

Singleton said he was told the story by one of the survivors of the attack, Polly Shephard.

According to Singleton, Roof let Shephard live because he wanted her to tell the story of the events that happened.

Roof is currently being held without bail, pending trial.
