I woke up this morning to read with dismay that President Umar Musa Yaradua has signed the supplementary budget into law, how are we sure he is the person that signed it? What if, If the signature was forged?
There so many questions that are yet to be unanswered about the status of President Yaradua!

Quote
Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu yesterday said that President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has signed the N353.60 billion 2009 Supplementary budget into law. THISDAY had exclusively reported yesterday that the President would assent to the bill in Saudi Arabia. The President is currently recuperating from a heart condition at the King Faisal Specialist and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The signing of the budget has prevented a veto override (as prescribed in Section 59(4) of the 1999 Constitution) that would have taken place if the document was not signed within 30 days of transmission to him for assent. The House of Represen-tatives had passed the Supple-mentary Appropriation bill on November 18 while the Senate concurred on November 24. Acting Clerk of the National Assembly, Prince Oluyemi Ogunyomi, had transmitted a clean copy of the bill to the Presidency on November 29. But amid the confusion over the budget, December 8 and 10 were bandied around as the transmission dates of the clean copy of the budget.

I am really confused if our president is alive or dead, all we are been told is that he his sick, Nigeria a Nation of about 150million people without a Leader is disturbing.
Compare to Fidel castrol who was sick and there was always pictures of him talking from the sick bed,
why cant we as Nigerians get to see a picture of our "sick president"?
Why wont he send the nation a video or radio feed of him on the sick bed?
How are we sure the Northern elite and the Nigerian mafia is not playing politics with our destiny?

We really need answers and as long as we dont get it, the destiny of Nigeira continues to be in Limbo!

I wait to see if we will enter the New year without knowing the status of our President!

The focus shouldn't be on Yaradua rather it should be on the country. Is Nigeria still alive, dying or dead!
Maybe Yaradua is a reflection of the present state of what we use to know as Nigeria.

Crocodileg, you got it right. It goes with the american saying, everything, everything, everything. I think we Nigerian including myself are cowards; all we do is run overseas or away from the country and expect some 419 turn politicians to run the country. Why can`t we organise ourselves and do like other countries, peaceful demostrations day in day out  to force the system to change. Right now we are being changed by the system. wake up people and let us do something meaningful for our dear country Nigeria. That is all we have. I am ready. Arios
