This whole saga brings clearly to the fore, the weakness and impotency of Nigeria's laws, its police and the entire prosecution system. If a proper organ of government and a enforcement agency for that matter invites or orders that a citizen should appear before it, no citizen, however rich or connected, has the clout to refuse to answer; or chose when he will answer the invitation.

Shame on the entire Nigerian police force (from the IG down to entire members) that despite the fact that a high ranking police public relations officer categorically announced that Saraki would be arrested over the weekend, he is still roaming free on the streets of Abuja; and even has the comfort of holding meetings with his senate supporters.

The IG must be querried.
