SUPER WOMAN! Woman Gives Birth To A Set Of Sextuplets (Photos)

The woman in the central city of Zlitin gave birth to a set of sextuplets in Zlitin Hospital, Libya. The Deputy Manager of the hospital Osama Al-Sari said that the sextuplets are 6 boys and a girl weighing between 400 to 1100 grams, pointing out that the delivery surgery was carried out by three gynaecologists and one paediatrician.

"The seven infants are in relatively unstable health conditions up until now because the equipment in the hospital cannot assist such cases, yet the mother’s health condition is very good." Al-Sari added.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought sextuplet in this context would mean six babies? But the article is saying six boys and a girl.

Your right it should be called septuplets not sextuplet, SIX children born at the same birth is called sextuplet, while SEVEN children born at the same birth is called septuplets.
