This is not the right thing to do with America. Encage in a Diplomatic Talks First, if they do not remove the name of Nigria from a torrist country, they the Nigerian Government can take action on America relationship. Why do I said this, American Security have to be strengthen because the Father of this 23 years old boy had gone to the American Embassy to inform them about his son. However, there is no place in Nigeria that this boy receive training. He receive training overseas even while he was at school in London, why did Britain not discover when he was going for this training outside London. Let Nigeria not take wrong move later they regret. Pray for Nigeria Nation, Pray for American people! Pray that God should put peace in the heart of Terrorists to repent from their evil deeds! Reply

@MIC200. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT IS MAKING SENSE ON THIS FORUM. ReplyThey have not tried to plead their case as to why they shouldn't be on a terror list. Everyone is busy saying "NO NO No No we shouldn't but no one is saying "WHY!" We Nigerians love to jump so quick to defend our country when for everything even if we are wrong. If a Nigeria shoots someone to death and gets a death penalty. All you will see is everyone getting loud about him being sent to die for killing someone and that its because he is nigerian, but no one is looking at the wrong he did. YOU ARE NOT THE VICTIM SO STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE EVERYTIME!

Nigeria can take action and threat america, but at least america is more powerful and does not need nigeria. The only thing nigeria has to offer for america is their oil. But there r other countries who could provide it too. the neighboor country ghana for excample discovered oil in their country too now. Hopefully ghana would not copy nigeria and not doing same mistakes, which nigeria did in the past. Majority of us dont support terror. Let us be sincere here. Nobody knows, what is/was really going on. Farouk was trained outside nigeria, yes. But one still has to question his family in nigeria too. That his father reported his own son to us authorities means not, that he is innocent. Maybe he did that just to wash his own head clean. And how comes, that only the father discovered in advance, that his son would become terrorist? And how could he discover it? He claims, that he lost contact to his son and did not his´ son current stay. But the boy s family sent him at least to london and paid the bills for him. Why the british ppl did not discover? And we also have to ask ourselves, if there is any connection between this terror act, al quaeda and the disappeared (death? murdered?) nigerian president. who knows. At least as u mentioned right, we all need to pray, that GOD makes the terror to stop.

Just shut the phyukin trap up if ur comment is worthless and useless you are the only one seeing Nigerian president kidnapped by Al-Queda , and Farouks father preparing him to go and bomb down the US plane after which he went to report to the US embassy to watch out for him . Thats besides being happy Nigeria is now a terrorist country . the country of your so called blood . Coconut head you have indeed !!! or better still bomb head . Quote from: ojias on 11-01-2010 06:03 PM A wise man is not fast in talking nor in taking action so that he does not regrate later. Again two wrongs does not make a right. Granted that we are entittled to be sad over what America is doing, we should show maturity here and make America and the International World to know that we are more civilised than what they used to believe about us.We should do this by giving America time to cool down and come out of the euphoria of what happened. Thereafter we should call them to order, reminding them that there are alot of Nigerian citizens who have lived in America for several years without any bad report about them. A word is enough for the wise. From Ojias. There is nothing that you can do to change America's mind. The Libyan government gave up all their weapons of mass destruction, paid the death for the Lockerbie bombing, yet America still leaves them on the list of terrorist countries. You can stay as calm as you want. Nigeria is very important in Africa. Nigeria helps in ensuring that Africa's peace keeping and economies, democracies, etc., are working. Condemning Nigeria as a terrorist country unilaterally symbolically condemns all of Africa. Nigeria has over one-fifth of the entire African population. This listing is quite serious and should be followed with formal complaints and addressed in the strongest of terms. This plan has been in the making for a very long time. President Obama did not visit Nigeria claiming corruption, but yet President Bush claimed former Nigerian President Obasanjo was his best friend. They were seen hugging each on camera when Bush visited Nigeria. What changed so quick as soon as President Obama came into power and all of a sudden a Nigerian is charged for terrorism and Nigeria becomes black-listed as a high risk terrorist country? President Obama is being used to hurt black people in America, Africa, etc. President Obama is being used to pit Moslems against blacks.

There is no need feeling intimidated by a has been super power. Nigeria is important in the African continent. The rest of Africa looks up to us and we cannot allow such a crappy and useless country like the USA come and throw sand in our garri. We need a lot of work in Nigeria so that we can help our citizens. We need to pray for Nigeria. We need better leaders, but we do not need to accept the condemnation of the USA. Their classifications of Nigeria is totally unacceptable. If we accept USA classification, there will be more to lose for the rest of Africa. How dare America pick on the giant of Africa?

To be listed in watch list, there must had been intelligence information to support claim of nation's support for act of terrorism that will cause risk and loss of life to another nation, NOT crisis. IRA had been terrorising Britain for over 40years with many lives lost and other nationalities drawn in cross line. If that not does upgrade their name on the list then, why Nigeria?. Quote from: florry on 12-01-2010 12:16 PM Listing Nigeria in the top 10 of America's security watch list to a large extent serves us rite. It is just unfortunate that we have bush men in our senate who know nothing about diplomatic relations. When you have a country with no government the truth is anything goes, and such a country will breed all sort of ills. I'm sure there are conditions which if we comply with will lead to our name being removed from this list. Why dont they ensure that these conditions are met and then see what happens. Remember, we may be the giant gorrillas in this jungle called Africa, but there are far more advanced equipment to catch and tame a gorrilla and nothing will happen. By the way, if you have seen the movie "district 9", then you will get a clearer picture of how America and other deveped countries really see us. May God help us all. District 9 movie is a fiction and Nigerians have protested on the way Nigeria and Nigerians were depicted in that movie and it has been discussed here in one of the naijapal forum. There is nothing that Nigeria can do that will make our name removed from this list. Libya is one perfect example. They gave up their weapons of mass destruction and paid all the fines levied on them. Libya still remains in the terrorist watch list. America has an agenda. They have taken the moslems and given them a bad name. The next is to give Africa a bad name. The entire goal is to get blacks to fight Moslems. We need to be wise and do not allow America's plans to work.

(IS 50 - 50 ) Do you even know what you're talking about? It's true they both need each other, but Nigeria needs the US more than US needs them. If they cut off all ties with the America, Nigeria will suffer more than before and America will still survive because they do not depend on Nigeria. Nigeria depends on them and needs to start using their head sometimes instead of being so fcking proud when it comes to everything. The united State have been a country on its on and has everything without the help of Nigeria because there are other countries that are more than willing to associate with America so they don't care whether Nigeria cut off ties or not. How many times have you heard Obama mention the effects Nigeria is going to have on them and do you know why? That is because there is NONE!. An Citizen of Nigeria tried to blow up their planes with their citizens aboard so they're doing exactly whats needed to be done and that is to put Nigeria on a terror watch list. They are not doing anything wrong and besides the guy got the explosives in Nigeria also. @Omatu or whatever your name is, instead of attacking people speaking the truth, and yes i know you are defending your country, but Nigeria is not a saint. Your fellow brother tried to kill people and you are here running your mouth whether you should be placed on a list or not. You can blab all you want but it still won't do a thing because you need to go to the white house to make your voice heard, so why are you on the forums as if someone is going to make a change by reading your drama filled crap? Nigeria is now a terror country whether you want to believe or not! and the US is not going to remove it because we are the last thing on their mind and their citizen is the first thing that comes. Point of correct. The entire world needs Nigeria more than Nigeria will ever need the entire world. I challenge you to research. The best sweet crude oil in the world is found in Nigeria only. This type of sweet crude oil is what is used for driving cars. Nowhere in the world can you find the type of sweet crude oil that Nigeria has been blessed with. All the other crudes are heavy and of inferior quality worldwide. Naijapals is a medium that Nigerians used to meet and discuss issues that are of concerns or of common interest to Nigerian citizens. Other nations can come and join if they so desire. I do not expect the USA to remove Nigeria from the list because there is a bigger picture than just that a so-called Nigerian participated in a terrorist act. The very fact that you referred to him as my brother shows how little minded you are! You cannot because of one person condemn an entire nation that is instrumental in keeping Africa together. If you want to know what crap is, please re-read your own comments. LOL.
