Nollywood Actor Harry B Anyanwu, Narrowly Escapes Assassination Attempt

The Nollywood industry is presently in a state of shock following the assassination attempt on the life of actor Harry B Anyanwu. As you read this, the fast rising actor has lost one of his Legs after surviving an attack by yet to be identified Cultist group in Enugu.  Reports r says, the actor was attacked on his way back from a movie location on Friday, December 11, 2015 in Enugu. Sources close to Anyanwu also confirmed the ugly development said, the actor was on his way back from a movie location when he met a blockade mounted by suspected Cultists who were jubilating in pretence just to accomplish their evil plot.Unaware of their intentions, the actor alighted from his car to exchange greetings with the boys whom he thought were his fans. He even dropped some money for them  before turning back to return to his vehicle, when the suspected cultists dragged him and inflicted heavy machete cuts on him until they ensured his legs were cut off.
The source further reveal that the assailants specifically told him they were sent to Kill him due to his fast rising profile in Nollywood. Harry B Anyanwu also confirmed the incidence on his Instagram page.

We understand the actor is currently at the Orthopedic hospital in Enugu where he has undergone series of surgeries.
