THREE TEEnAGERS ARE CHARGED IN RAPE IN CHINATOWN.

Three 16 yrs old living in a manhattan group home for boys were arrested early tuesday,the police said,charged with molesting and robbing a 33 year old woman they encountered a day earlier at an internet cafe in chinatown.The attack took place on monday 5am at the cafe on Eldridge street the police said.Afterward the teenagers fled the cafe with the victim's cellphone,housekeys,new york identification card,debit cards and a credit card,which they tried unsuccessfully to use,the police said.The attack left the woman "incoherent",during an interview with detectives,the officials said. Investigators from the special victims squad were able to retrieve video from an area surveillance camera that helped them identify the suspects and track them to a residence of the boys town organisation in manhattan. Police arrested the three,identified as Eric pekand Emmanuel burrows,who were each charged with rape and robbery,and Sanat asliev,who was charged with attempted rape,assault and burglary.All three were charged as adults.The teenagers had not yet been arraigned by midmorning tuesday and it was not immediately clear when they might appear in court,according to the manhattan attorney's office.
