Police Officer Allegedly Beats Bus Driver To Death For Refusing To Bribe In Igando, Lagos

A police officer has allegedly beaten a bus driver to death in Igando. The scene is still on as I type this. According to the LL reader who sent in the photos (network so bad, I will have to upload later), he said it’s currently happening and it happened opposite Igando BRT Park. According to him, the officer asked the bus driver for bribe which he refused, he then jumped into his bus dragged him down and started beating him. As the man was defending himself, the officer kept on to beat him and he landed in a nearby gutter.

By the time onlookers will rescue the man and brought out of the gutter, he was already dead and gone. Sensing what has happened, the officer and his colleagues took to their heels. Angry road users then blocked both sides of the road, causing heavy traffic. According to him, the angry road users said, they had to do that to alert the government of what has just happened. And by so doing, the standstill traffic will make news and alert the Government.

This is why this country is called a ZOO and different types of animals living in it. Police killing civilians is na a right in dis ZOO of a country. May his soul rest in  peace but I want all Nigerians to know that this country call Nigeria has too much innocent bloods on their hands and the owners of this blood are crying on Nigeria head. I rest my case.
