A 24-year-old woman, Angela Job, who allegedly bit off her friend’s eyelid during a fight, has appeared before a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
Standing trial on assault occasioning grievous harm charge, the accused entered a `not guilty’ plea. According to the prosecutor, Insp. Ben Ekundayo, the accused had on Aug. 19 at about 6.30 p.m. at Papa Bus Stop, Badore Road in Ajah on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, bit off the eyelid of the complainant, Uche Anyanwu.
He said Angela bit off Anyanwu’s eyelid when she asked the accused to pay the money owed her. “A fight ensued when Anyanwu asked for the money and the accused bit off the eyelid, causing him grievous harm,” he said.
The offence contravened Section 243 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. In his ruling, Magistrate Ade Adefulire, granted the accused a N200, 000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
Further hearing has been fixed for Sept. 29.

you wey go borrow wey nor wan pay nkor, you own person money dey buy food dey eat and dey buy cloth, some people can be comfortable when they are owing, just don't like that about some people , when you go there to borrow you beg and promise heaven and earth to rutune the money back in said time but that time will pass and end up running more than a year and you will not want to pay the money, that salves you right anyway

useless judge, she get 200k na she dey fight, i just hate nigeria judicial system, person wey still billion go get bail of thousands and who still 500 naira una go dey grant am bail for 200k naira, the person get 200k nai go steal 500, now the woman fight who dey own her una dey grant bail of 200k she get that kind money na she go dey fight, yeye judge wey dey naija

I have read many cases were debtors kill the lender, one happen in Edo state the debtor kill the pregnant woman because of her 1k that she borrow her with good heart, what a wicked world

The judge could have changed her up to 1000000naira for bailout taking law in to her hand is a crime, she will be in cell now crying had I know. She will lose the money and still pay for damages, she no go fit talk sey she no dey own anybody, she will remain there.
