The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Thursday insisted that Chocolate City co-founder, Audu Maikori would be prosecuted for publishing fake news on the crisis in the state.
Speaking at the ongoing social media week 2017, the governor maintained that he had no personal grouse against Maikori. El-Rufai explained that prosecuting the entertainment mogul would serve as deterrent to people who spread false information.

According to El-Rufai,
Quote
“We are going to prosecute him. He was arrested. His statement has been taken. He is on bail. He is going to be prosecuted. His fate will be decided by a judge.
“It is not personal. I have nothing against him. In fact, he has worked with the state government in the past. But I’m not going to sit as the governor of Kaduna State and allow any one to post or tweet anything that leads to loss of lives without consequences.
“He posted fake pictures of Boko Haram attacks, Rwandan genocide as Southern Kaduna killings. It is totally irresponsible to do that.
“Even when it was pointed out to him that the information was untrue, he still posted that he stood by his story. He questioned the authenticity of the press statement. He was totally and completely irresponsible.

Maikori was recently arrested and detained  for his tweets about the purported killing of five students in Kaduna by Fulani herdsmen. He was, however, released following the intervention of former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili

El-Rufai with his head like peanut, you can tell he is extremely biased, how can the Fulani's that are normadics invade the native peoples land and claim it's there own and try to protect and defend them, but when it comes the Christians he starts speaking garjons, seriously this won't end well for El-Rufai at all,  yeye midget.
