Perhaps the poster meant to be sarcastic about the photo, but some of the comments pals have made so far, show they misunderstood the meaning of the word "opulence". It means riches, luxury, splendor, grandeur, wealth, power etc.  There is nothing wrong with smoking garri; but I'm not used to seeing Igbo people drink garri with bungafish. I lived in Warri in the  90s, that is where I saw people eat garri in this fashion. However, that food is as local as could be when it comes to our culture. Over here where I live, I do not remember any two to three months that pass by without me drinking garri with dried shrimp or crayfish and peanut. Only thing that is not readily available to complete my drinking garri here is the palm kernels. So, guys, it not a poverty thing or rich man thing, it's about choice and nostalgia for good old days, and that has the tendency to cool down body temperature on a very hot weather day.
