We’ve all seen our fair share of over-the-top parties on the Internet, TV and elsewhere but, we’ve never seen anything nearly as extravagant as Obaoluwa Aikhionbare‘s first birthday party.
The little boy, who turned one last week, was thrown an ultra-lavish fairytale party by his wealthy parents and the Internet hasn’t stopped talking about it as more pictures and videos from the party emerge.
From the horse and carriage entrance befitting of a prince, to the gingerbread house, smoky tub, candy walls, life size cakes and endless supply of champagne, no expense was spared in planning the lavish bash.
Details are still sketchy but the little boy is allegedly the love child of socialite Oyin Oshikanlu and oil and gas mogul, Sam Aikhionbare so it makes sense that there will be millions of naira readily available to throw such a party.
The event was put together by three different planners and tens of vendors were at the beck and call of the guests in attendance.
The celebrant’s mother even did a school girl-themed choreography with her friends at the party
What’s a fairytale without a carriage?
ven a modern fairytale requires a ‘carriage’ in form of a Rolls Royce
And the boy was chilling in one with his mum
Kind of celebration that will make you think about your existence
Ace of Spades and more. Yep! You’re really thinking of your life
Obaloluwa Aikhionbare (known on Instagram as @obascoberry) shared the photographs and videos of his superlative birthday party.
Of course, it’s a parent sharing the images (most likely the mum Oyin Oshinkanlu). Still, the lavish bash will daze an adult and make you wonder what you’re doing with your own life.

Oga u no dey think. tell me wetin dose guys say wey dey wrong. do you know many people wey go sleep that night without food and they dont even know what they will feed on when they wake up the next day. tell me is it not good if a group of people are empowered with this money (that does not bring any income nor reward neither does it even bring praise from people), as a mark of their sons birthday.

This is way too much for a year old. Tomorrow now they will be going upandon looking for what is happening to the boy not knowing they long sold his destiny publicly.

Less privileged na who too? So rich man no fit enjoy e life? Let the less privileged go look for theirs. Africans and their beliefs of rich people help the poor. In developing countries there are homeless people while the are billions Happy birthday little. Your parents born you well.
