With the pace of deportation of Nigerians from different countries seemingly on the rise, 58 Nigerians, mostly blind beggars, were deported from Sudan Wednesday, the local press reported.

The deportees were ferried into the main gateway Murtala Mohammed International Airport by a chartered Libyan airline.

They were all said to have been deported based on immigration-related offences.

The deportation came a week after 208 Nigerians were deported from three different countries for various offences.
