.....And another thing, I'm assuming that everyone on here are adults or old enough to voice your own opinions and share information without being insulting. Everyone will not agree with what they read, but, lets all be mature enough (weather adults or teens) to respect others beliefs. You don't have to agree, but, we should all be mature enough to voice that without being insulting. I'm positive that no one in this forum is dumb. We may have different views on the subject and some views may be a little far out there but we all are mature people and should carry ourselves as so.

lmao that doesn't have nothing to do with your visit my dear and you are diplomat so you know all what is happening outside of Nigeria. It is because they cannot place anymore countries on their so called terrorist list it will look too suspicious. So instead they have increased securities and secretly taking away visas from persons whose countries are standing up for their rights. There are a lot more than meet the eyes. Persons will not be going to America with the assurance that they used to have before. With this new implementation your visa can be taken away the moment you purchase a ticket. Then at the consulate they tell you that it is their rights and no questions can be ask. You can leave America on your Green Card and cannot re-enter again. So it is better one who is so desirous to go to America do so with caution. Those who are on Green Card better secured their citizenship before travelling.

Obama is fighting a different fight from the one Bush did. The same persons who was clamouring for him to be there he is hurting everyone of them one by one. It is Blackman time now. Now the blackman is taking it to them. lmao The thing with us is that we will never learn. History as shown us over and over the ones that hurt us is our very own.

Watch more than Nigerian News and you will all see what Obama and his administration as been doing since of lately.

I know some Nigerians are going to be upset after reading my response but there is no need to be because nothing that America does ever covers up. Just remember that you were warned on NP.

sweetie, America can put as many names on any list that they want to and don't give a damn about looking suspicious. they can not decrease security just so you feel better, the terrorists are out there, and they just may come through Nigeria  they have done away with the entire list. it no longer exists. they have just increased security for everyone fitting a description that they are given for a possible threat, , and taking away your visa secretly?? who needs secretly? they can just take it openly, they have always done that! what assurances? there never has been any. there is always more than meets the eye, and they can always take your green card if you leave the US before you get your citizenship. that has not changed that is why they tell you not to leave before you get it. DUH
and Obama is fighting in every way he can to improve relations with every country in this world, especially Nigeria, he is possibly the only good man in this crazy government

The terrorist dad warned Americans about his son's intention and America did not listen.  America need to apologise to Nigeria and its citizens for their lack of ability to stop the young man before he made it to American soil.
Embarrassed Embarrassed Lips Sealed Lips Sealed
True what you are saying about American being warned, but, that still does not justify what the Nigerian terrorist attempted to do. Yea, we were warned but that did not make his son correct in his actions (which I know you are aware of) therefore, no apology is needed to Nigeria. As I stated it's sad that all of the innocent citizens of the countries who are on the list have to pay for what one or a few terrorist did/does, but, that's life.

Nobody is justifying what the Mutalab fool did.  Nigeria did not try to terrorize America.  It was one lone wolf who was trained in UK who happen to be born in Nigeria.  The dad to this knuckle head Mutalab came and warned all the necessary government.  American government and its officials did nothing.

There was a shoe bomber from UK Richard Reid that tried to bomb an airplane just like the fool Mutalab, UK was not put on the list of terrorists.

For just these few reasons alone, Nigerian deserves an apology from the USA.

Yea, as I stated before it is sad that an entire country has to be punished for what one single person did, and as for why the UK didn't get put on the list, I have no idea, but, I don't feel the US should be apologizing. The US just putting a tight grip on things so hopefully this won't happen again. No apology needed. Innocent lives could have been taken. From what I'm reading there are activists from Nigeria still trying to bomb. What about the incident where the man drove his car under the airplane. He even stated that he will be back to finish. There are other activists out of Nigerian as well. So far haven't heard of anymore from UK, not to say that there isn't because I'm sure there is, but this could be why Nigeria got put on the list. Just seems like there is a rise coming out of Nigeria. So if someone finally succeeds at it and innocent people are killed, you're saying that the US need to apologize? I'm sure it's way more to this than me and you will ever know. I'm sure they didn't just put Nigeria on the list because of what one person did.

The very fact that Britain was never put on the list for similar things is enough for Nigeria to protest and we need an apology.  We agree to disagree.

I totally disagree. Nigeria deserves no apology. You do the crime you pay the time. Haven't heard much coming out of Britain well not as much as Nigerian anyways

We African should be aware of our history, We have been a people labelled for extinction for centuries and we survived. Anyone out there who does not know our history as africans before fighting wars that is not ours should read this:

Wow, sobering. I've never seen the Hell of the American slave trade put into a less harsh light, but that is sobering. I agree, every person needs to be learned and aware of their past, to learn from it, and make proper choices in life. God help us all in that.

but i don't see how it pertains to something so small as  this subject, that video needs it's own discussion.
