Tottenham face Liverpool on Sunday looking for a first win over their title rivals in five years, the longest barren run against any of the Premier League's top six.

Spurs beat Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City last season alone, but have not ended up on winning side against the Reds since November, 2012.

Much has changed in the interim, however, as Tuesday's thoroughly deserved draw with Real Madrid proved, and with a first Wembley league win under their belts Mauricio Pochettino will be looking for more this weekend.

Liverpool's record against the Premier League's fellow big boys is impressive - that 5-0 thrashing by Manchester City aside - and they held to north London fresh off scoring seven in the Champions League.

Start time

Tottenham host Liverpool at Wembley Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 4pm on Sunday, October 22.

Team news

Ben Davies is still sidelined through illness and will have to be assessed before the weekend, while Mousa Dembele is in the same boat with his ankle injury.

Danny Rose made his first appearance in a Spurs shirt since January with a 10-min substitute cameo and could make the bench again.

Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela remain a few weeks from a return. Georges-Kevin N'Koudou could miss the game after suffering a concussion.

The good news for Liverpool is they have no fresh injury concerns, the big news is that two of those stricken are Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana.

However, Philippe Coutinho looks back to his best after pushing for a summer move and will be aiming to score in his fifth consecutive away game on Sunday.

Predicted line-ups

Tottenham starting XI: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Alderweireld; Trippier, Sissoko, Winks, Eriksen, Vertonghen; Son, Dele; Kane

Liverpool starting XI:
Mignolet; Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Moreno; Wijnaldum, Henderson, Can; Salah, Firmino, Coutinho
