With Manchester City leading the title race by 11 points, the rest of the top-flight's elite clubs face the prospect of an almighty scrap for the three remaining Champions League qualification spots.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool currently sit fourth - 18 points behind Pep Guardiola's City - though Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are just a point behind in fifth, with Burnley (sixth) and Tottenham (seventh) also both firmly in contention.
A fourth-placed finish will not be won or lost before Christmas, but Arsenal will want to avoid a similar result to the 4-0 humbling they received at Anfield in August if they are to stay on track.

Team news
Wenger will likely ring the changes once again after handing a number of squad players a chance against West Ham in the EFL Cup.
Olivier Giroud (hamstring) and Francis Coquelin (cramp) join Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Santi Cazorla (ankle) on the sidelines, but Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck played a rare 90 minutes in the 1-0 EFL Cup quarter-final win over West Ham.
Alberto Moreno (ankle) and Nathaniel Clyne (back) miss out for Liverpool, while Daniel Sturridge (hamstring) and Joel Matic (muscle) are major doubts.
Adam Lallana is in contention for a start after coming on against Stoke, but faces a battle to get into Klopp's free-scoring attack.
How they could line up
Arsenal predicted XI: Cech; Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Bellerin, Xhaka, Wilshere, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette
Liverpool predicted XI: Mignolet; Gomez, Lovren, Klavan, Milner; Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Coutinho, Mane
