That may sound strange if a gurl proposes because in our african culture it is uncultural but here in europe is not new.why because in an african family without a MALE child that family will believe they arent complete whereas in europe child is child weather boy or gurl.
 I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. THIS IS 21ST CENTURY.
