Hell was almost let loose yesterday at the secretariat of the Lagos Action Congress, AC, Acme Road, Ogba, Lagos, Nigeria, as some men suspected to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect from Mile 12 market, Ketu invaded the place.
Trouble was said to have started in the morning when members of the Arewa United Group, AUG, a coalition of Fulani, Hausa, Igbira and Nupe ethnic groups in the Lagos AC were holding a poverty alleviation programme for their women and youths.
P.M.NEWS gathered that before now, the group had split into two factions following the return of Alhaji Abubakar Atiku to the Peoples’ Democratic party, PDP.
The disengaged group had allegedly followed Atiku to Adamawa for his failed declaration, but later retraced their steps and when he was rejected.
The misunderstanding in the Arewa group was said to have attracted the chairman of Lagos AC, Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomale who called a reconciliatory meeting at the party secretariat yesterday. He invited five people from each side.

P.M.NEWS learnt from eyewitnesses at the party secretariat that the aggrieved group led invaded the venue of the peace meeting with fully armed men believed to be members of the Boko Haram. They were said to be over 100.
According to one of our sources, “immediately they entered the party’s auditorium they started chanting war songs, defying the presence of AC Chairman, Otunba Ajomale who was making a speech at that moment. They were armed with machetes, cudgels, charms and other dangerous weapons.”
The chairman of the Arewa Union Group, AUG, Mallam Kabir Ahmed was said to have been bundled to safety, while members of the group dispersed immediately as Rapid Response Squad, RRS, teams stormed the place.

my dear it is believed that majority of these clashes that has now become the order of the day in northern Nigeria re actually bn spare-headed by this same primitive group. they attacked and kill christian and non northerners at will.

it's so sad these group has bn in existence for long yet so many governments has come and gone yet non of them were courageous enough to stamp these evil group out of the country instead rumor has it that most northern politicians use to hire the Boko Haram Sects to unleash terror on their political opponents all in their quest for power.

That's a sad situation. I don't know much about Nigerian politics and what goes on down there but from things that I read and hear it seems like Is only God Almighty that can save that country from such uttermost turmoil. Esp. with all these ignorant cattle rearers that don't know ti.
