Nigerians are having a field day trolling the president over the decision to make his Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari to bring a bill to him to sign while he is on a private trip to London and despite the fact that the vice president is still in the country. Many feel this is a complete disregard for the vice president and a show of power to prove that there is truly a cabal around the president that are toying with power

The C O S is on the right path. As long as the President did not hand over his functions to his VP, he has the latitude to continue to take Decisions on weighty Issues, especially, 'Oily Ones'.

Since when has it become a law or rule or part of the constitution that the president must hand over all his duties to his deputy the moment he steps out of the country??? The way some Nigerians reason, u just wonder if they reason with their brains or not Roll Eyes

Its not law, it is common sense, that is the point of having a deputy - to deputize your duties.

Why would going to anothe rperson's country to sign your country's law make sense to anyone?
