Why should Fasting be compulsory?

at least you are a christian and you can read some bible-verses so just tell us what your bible say; did it say it's compulsory or a personal issue.

A true christian have nothing to ask in this aspect. So please stay away. This is not a fiction religion or man made type ok.

For anyone to exact control over another person/group of people's minds, they have to perform the following acts/magic

PEER GROUP PRESSURE - Suppressing doubt and resistance to new ideas by exploiting the need to belong. If my husband is muslim, i have to try and act as one or else!!!

CONFUSING DOCTRINE - Encouraging blind acceptance and rejection of logic through complex lectures on an incomprehensible doctrine. Most of the time, you have to choose either to accept or reject some passages and choose sides as they can never make sense unless you just are coaxed to accept blindly.

REMOVAL OF PRIVACY - Achieving loss of ability to evaluate logically by preventing private contemplation. Also you will have to confess or spy for the leader, as there can be nothing hidden from the master planner.

DISINHIBITION - Encouraging child-like obedience by orchestrating child-like behaviour. unless you are a kid or born again childish mentality, you can not be obidient enough or clean enough.

UNCOMPROMISING RULES - Inducing regression and disorientation by soliciting agreement to seemingly simple rules which regulate mealtimes, bathroom breaks and use of medications. Medication??? hell no..........But am sure the ones that drink the wine as the blood know what am talking about unless if alcohol is not medical, and does the inductrination not create a certain acceptance of wine

DRESS CODES - Removing individuality by demanding conformity to the group dress code.

CHANTING OR SINGING - Eliminating non-cult ideas through group repetition of mind-narrowing chants or phrases. you can motivate people to perform certain action at certain times if you can find the right chant!!!

CHANGE OF DIET - Creating disorientation and increased susceptibility to emotional arousal by depriving the nervous system of necessary nutrients through the use of special diets and/or fasting. If you mouth and the type of things you put in it can be controlled, wooow.

this inemx is a devilish pocess human , he/she never countributes meaningly except in irresponsible ways ,maybe you are thinking that GOD created you just for a fun , it will be too late to cry when the head had been choop off , you really needs so deliverence so and the earlier the better for you self ------ ok ?

Jesus Christ never FAST. When John Baptist disciples came to Jesus and asked Him why his disciples are eating and drinking during fasting, Jesus answered why should they. He said he was with them and there is no need. Then He went on to talked about placing new cloth on a old garment, putting new wine in a old wine skin. He also said that persons say the old way is better.

You see Jesus was telling us that the new way of fasting will come but not while the old one is still standing. Fasting is from the LAW of Moses and Jesus know that the Law will become obsolete upon his death and resurrection. The new way of afflicting ourselves when we sins is FORGIVING OTHERS so that we can be forgiven, going before God in prayers through Jesus Christ and confessing our Sins.  As long As you don't forgive a person who wrong you, your prayers will never be answer.  No matter how much FASTING you want to do. lol lol We should live a life of obedience.

Now Jesus Christ never FAST he was lead in the wilderness by the Spirit of the Lord to be tempted by the Devil. This temptation was to teach us how to overcome the Devil by using the word of God to Him with Truth and authority. Persons associated it with FASTING because the first thing that the devil came up with was food. lol lol That was Jesus time to be tempted by the devil and nothing to do with FASTING.

Before the Trial and Death of Jesus Christ. He showed us how to overcome Trials - By Praying, this was done on Mount Olive,  Temptation - by using the word of God against the Devil. But always remember that Jesus Christ had the Spirit of Truth (The Father Himself) inside of Him. To have the Spirit of Truth you have to be obedient by reading the Bible.

Am not going to quote no bible scriptures here. Go read the books of Gospel it is all there. Jesus Christ mentioned about Fasting in Matt 6 vs 16 please remember that He just began His Ministry and so has to talk this way. Further down in the book of Matthew you will see how He started to cement His authority. It is in Chapter 5 he spoke about the fulfillment of the Law of Moses. - Blessings
