Of course we are capable of doing something. Let's start planning ahead for the next generation, but I do not think this generation of ours can really benefit from it.

I want 2 believed dat our present generation can change d situation in naija if we can make use of various channels of information technology an area where most naija youth now have an access to mobilise ourselves. Remember d 'khakistrocratic kleptomaniac' (apology 2 my friend Godsson) are mostly illeterates when it comes to information technology.

Oga author 10ks 4 d post.
@ least 1 thing dat i commend
our generation is dat we 've d
kind of minds(lyk urs n mine)
2 discuss our problems.

d above was just a prelude in gettin me started on d issues U or we R able 2 put forth
B/4 i go further let us bear in mind dat d very issue or sum of d issues dat caused our
problems in d first place hav not been addressed namely
1) Tribalism
2) Use of colonial master plan
3) Laziness on d part of our youths e.t.c
Mr author no doubt dat our father's generation has failed us(mind u not forefathers) but lyk one of d respondant says ''enuf of d blaming game'' & let us conc. on solvin d problems by ourselves which itself will take tym
And another factor is d fact dat d old gen. is gradually corruptin or has already currupt our gen also due 2 d sum unavoidable situatns. BUT LYK I SAID LET US START NOW OR WE WILL NOT ACHIEVE WHAT WE WANT!!

Arise 'o' naijapals! D time to start action is now. Our song of liberation must be sang in unison and hilarity. We must say no to the old order of curruption, PDP brand of politics, tribalism and religious bigotry. Arise 'o' naijapals! too long have we been oppressed and degraded. They've stolen our money and bombarded us with poverty. For how long shall this continue? Arise 'o' naijapals! D time to start action is now.

uhmmm, mo, I'm 18 and whenever political issues concerning naija come up, i just drift apart from the discussion. Honestly, i aint proud to be nigerian so how can i help a country that i dont feel proud of and has never done shit for me!!!...Its s'posed to be a mutual relationship.
And dude, that range is just to huge, 18 to 40, c'mon, the mortality age in naija is 45 so i guess people that are 40 are already senile!!!

ok there you have a typical loser before the age of 21

You dont feel proud to be a Nigerian?
You country has never done shit for you??? Im sure so far you havent done shit for your country either so get off your ass and change it.
Look around you you have a whole future before you but like a lot of teenagers you want it NOW given to you on a plate of gold.

Believe me NO country hands you anything on a golden plate you have to EARN it no matter where you are. Look at the senile people at least they did try.
You on the other hand failed already as you have given up before you started.

This is not even a Nigerian problem but worldwide.
Young people who have it all and dont know they got it.

To move Naija forward, we must remove the imaginary barricades that exist in our minds, those ethnic, religious and regional lines that separate us from consolidating our potentials in order to accomplish greatness for this great country. We must align our might and minds to bring dignity, pride and honour to our nation. Untill we do this, our children will spare us from the curse that we ceaselessly curse our present leaders.
