Nigeria's female basketball team D'tigress have successfully qualified for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo Japan. The president of the federal republic of Nigeria has congratulated the team on such a brilliant work in qualifying for the competition despite facing still challenge from other African countries in the lead up.
President Buhari commends the sportsmanship and resilience of the team all through the qualifying stages, and in their training, saluting their courage in always putting out their best as they represent the country.
The President also commends team officials and the Nigerian Basket Ball Federation (NBBF) for the discipline and motivation of the D’Tigress.
