Once upon a time, Mercy Johnson and Regina Daniels were very close Nollywood pals.
Their relationship was like that of mother and her daughter, with Mercy Johnson mentoring the teenage Regina when she first entered the industry.
However, fast forward to today and the two rarely speak, they don’t comment on each other’s posts as they used to and they don’t even follow each other anymore!
So what led to this serious split between mother and daughter?
A new report from a Nigerian blog alleges it all ties back to Regina Daniels’ marriage to old man Ned Nwoko.
According to the report, when Regina decided to get married, Mercy tried to advice her to wait a while to build up her career before.
This allegedly angered Regina so much that she exchanged words with Mercy and their relationship faltered from there.
“Mercy was only trying to advice her not to marry Ned yet as she was still young and needs to learn more about life. But Regina went ahead as she said she LOVED him” a source ALLEGED!
As we all know, Regina went ahead to marry Nwoko and she’s now carrying his child, just as Mercy Johnson is also currently with child.
They might both be pregnant now but allegedly the relationship between these two ladies is now in the dustbin.

Once you have gotten a divorce you are no longer married to anyone. Mercy Johnson or anyone else can't steal or take no one. Everyone makes their own decision plus stop going off he said or she said to get an excuse just to down someone else. Try a little positive and see how far it goes,

Its not actually about whether Mercy married a man who was divorce or not. Mercy was already ripe for marriage and she married someone close to her age. Unlike Regina who married an old man far older than her and also a polygamist. Every Nigerians understands that Regina was too young to marry and even if age is just a number but to an extremely old man. Only her mother supported her. It wasn't wrong if Mercy who was already married to advice someone she takes a daughter for her good.

When a girl attain the age of 18, she is regarded as a full woman free to make her own decisions. Her marriage to the old man was entirely her choice. If even her mother attempted to talk her out of it, it would have been meaningless if Regina was determined to marry the rich old man. Mercy,s marriage was highly scandalous, her husband being a polygamist, hence perhaps she attempted to advise Regina against such marriage in polygamous home.

You are right. Mercy has done her best to advice Regina but then the decision is largely Regina’s. Prince is not a polygamist. He was never married with that Italian based woman. But u know how women behave. They think having kids for a man means he is automatically her husband. Good that Mercy married a man almost her age. At least she feels proud showcasing him anywhere. As for Regina, May God help her. She will suffer real love and emotional satisfaction. He is an old man with other women and might marry someone more younger and beautiful then Regina. There is nothing like owning someone who will be there for u anytime and can satisfy u in all aspect of life. Well it’s her headache
