Nigeria's Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, should stand by to know her destiny as the following Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
This is on the grounds that a gathering of the association initially planned for Monday, November 9 on the issue has been deferred.
Okonjo-Iweala had been proposed by a WTO selections advisory group on October 28 for the work, just for the United States to reject the suggestion.
It is, in any case, accepted that the delay of Monday's gathering is because of the new flood in the spread of COVID-19 and limitations being forced in certain nations which may keep a few agents from joining in.
No new date has yet been fixed for the gathering.
