Akuapem Poloo Gets 90 Days Sentence For Going N*de In Front Of Son

Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo has bagged a 90-day jail term for going N*de in front of her son.

Recall that the young boy had turned 7 in June last year and to celebrate his birthday, his mother had a photoshoot for him. It all, however, went wrong as the mother posed Nood in front of the boy, holding his hands. This stirred a lot of controversy and eventually landed her in court.

Recall that Gistmania reported that Akuapem Poloo pleaded guilty in court on Wednesdayto the three counts charge of publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence namely a conduct that in any way undermined another person’s privacy or integrity, and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracted or was likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being. She was then remanded in custody and the court deferred her sentencing to today Friday, April 16, 2021 to enable her undergo a pregnancy test in compliance with the law regarding a woman who has pleaded guilty in court.

Passing her judgment today, the judge presiding over her case at the  Accra Circuit Court, Mrs. Christiana Cann sentenced Akuapem Poloo to 90 days in jail. Gistmania reported that at the announcement of the judgment, the actress pleaded for mercy but to no avail “Mummy please, Mummy, I beg you, Mummy please,” she reportedly said to the judge. Akuapem Poloo’s lawyer, Mr Andy Vortia, was also said to have prayed for a more lenient sentence but the court held that a harsh sentence must be passed to serve as a deterrent to others.

common bro ! Have mercy bro . This woman is simply ignorant and that’s the right word to describe her action .The judge shouldn’t have pronounced the harshest punishment considering she’s first offender and moreover she’s a mother .She meant no harm for her son
