Well, there's a catch phrase that says different strokes for different folks.

Something you would have to understand is the intent. A guy who calls you "BABE" does not mean it in a derogatory way.
More so, if he's meeting you for the first time, he does not know your likes and dislike, so forgive his ignorance.
You can let him know that you don't like being called "BABE". When informing him, please do so with some courtesy.

However, the guy when informed must cease from still calling you "BABE" else, he is disrespecting your feelings.

BUT IN ALL, EVERY GUY  BECOMES A POET WHEN HE FALLS IN LOVE AND WOULD JUST WANT TO EXPRESS HIMSELF IN VARIOUS WAYS.
