A total 51 outstanding members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have bagged automatic employment, following the directive by President Goodluck Jonathan that they be absorbed into the federal civil service.
He gave the order at the 2010 NYSC president's honours awards ceremony at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday.
Also, those who bagged first class and second class upper, who wanted to proceed on further studies, were given scholarship.
Jonathan commended states that had built NYSC orientation camps, adding that the scheme would sustain its lofty achievements.
