Former Ekiti governor Ayo Fayose's brothers, Isaac and one other in a new video ridiculed Dino Melaye after he lost PDP's Kogi West Senatorial district ticket. In the video, they referred to Dino as a loser and urged him to return to the All Progressives Congress, APC. Melaye who represented the district during the 8th Assembly lost at the PDP primary rerun which was held on Tuesday, May 24.
He polled a total of 99 votes while the winner, Teejay Yusuf polled a total of 163 votes. Dino has since conceded defeat and congratulated the winner.
