ASUU Strike Update: “We can wait for Two Years untill FG Responds”— ASUU President

During an interview with the Punch, The ASUU President, Emmanuel Osedeke gave a statement which he said, “It has been a while I received my salary and that was around February.”

He added that the government tactics of holding their salaries weakens their resolve over the Union’s demands.

The Union has decided to be firmly loyal even if the available work remaining is a servant or become a farmer to earn money, they have decided to wait for the government response, he Said.

This is the third week of meeting with the other party and yet, we haven’t received anything from them. We have also met with the renegotiated committee that is headed by Prof Briggs.
