Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Nikki Laoye has said her late father’s absence at her wedding will forever hurt her. The 41-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Monday while reacting to an emotional video of a man shedding tears at his daughter’s wedding. Reacting to the video, Nikki Laoye who described herself as a daddy’s girl said she will always be hurt not having such a moment with her dad.
“Aww daddy’s girl like me. Will forever hurt me, I didn’t get to have this moment with my Dadda. Rest on Dadda,” she wrote. Nikki on December 19, announced her engagement to her long-time friend Adekunle Adeyoola aka Soul Snatcha. The couple got married in March 2022.
