Quote from: 2YOUNG on 21-12-2010 10:54 AM The Guy met this LADY in Canada after DATING for a long period of time they sent message home that they are coming home for MARRIAGE....They arrive the next week......But due to where this Girl grown up...when they arrive she greeted the in-laws with hand shaking no SIGN of NIGERIAN CULTURE ...they all feel ![]() ![]() LADIES:- if you are in her position will you said because you grown up outside the country bc of that NO RESPECT for you in-laws ![]() OR GUYS:- Will you said because your parents don't want her so you too you are no more interested GENERAL:- Is that where you will end the relationship :'( ![]() But what kind of respect do they '' In Laws'' required again, she already greeted them and also handshakes, right ?? do they required her to greet them with Leg shake ? What actually do people want ? the kind of ladies that pretend to be too holy by observing all those rules and regulations but inside them, they're really not that good ? they should let the new couples do their thing and not cancelling their happiness. greetings in a local way, what differences does it bring ? Have you all forgotten that even in Europe/ America, they don't even regard Mr president that much, everyone is equal. if Obasanjo like, let him come for example in Uk without paying for Bus or train ticket, if they caught him, he will pay for the fined. DirtyKid is a Happy Kid !!.....FATHER !! I've cast my bread on the waters long time ago. Now it's time 4u to return it, well buttered !!

I guess those elders or so called In Laws might be little harsh to her because they want to show that what you just said now, This is Nigeria !! and so what about that ? Do you know how many miles that lady traveled down to that place to honor the marriage rites ?? is that not enough respect to them ? don't you know many girls will want to have their wedding abroad where they were born, so that her own friends and family will attend, not some In laws that required some special local/traditional respect from their new wife. is something they will have to teach her slowly, the person in charge for this, should be the husband not some in laws .
