Clergyman Kingsley Okonkwo dismisses claims married people can't have s€x while fasting

According to him, couples can have s€x while fasting and that a partner can abstain from s€x during a fast only with the consent from their partner. He also opined that abstaining from s€x for too long will expose a couple to temptation.

He suggested that a couple can abstain from copulation during fast at most seven days. He averred that having s€x during a fast will not irritate God as fasting is for a person's good and not to please God.

where is discipline gan? So for just 7days, couples can't reverence God and be at denial while fasting? Can't believe a Pastor is spewing this thrash. If couple are so good with each other, why are they cheating on daily basis? Stay away from food either through your mouth or genitals.

Don't mind him with his misleading opinion, fasting isn't just about not eating, it's denying everything that's connected to the flesh to connect with the spirit of God. Anyone truly fasting should feel dead to segxwal desires whether married or single.
