The director had kept his marriage a secret after experiencing two previous failed marriages, both with Nollywood actresses. He shared a picture of himself and his wife, concealing her face, letting his fans know that he is happily married and happy at the moment. He explained that despite his efforts to keep it a secret, he eventually succumbed to updating his fans and friends about his current status after his elder sister took screenshots of a video call he and his wife had with her.
He wrote:
“Married! We did it here some months ago.. just so my friends and fans know. I’m okay and happy. God’s on the throne. Had no idea my elder sister was screenshotting as me and wifey were talking to her on the phone.. chai. Candid picture”
