A suspected thief has finally been caught. 'Monday Terror' was caught and his head shaved in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State. A member of the community, Patrick Zhero Agida, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Friday, June 16, 2023, said the suspect allegedly robbed people displaced by the recent communal crisis in the local govt area, dispossessing them of their cash, phones and other valuables.
“A notorious thief identified as 'Monday Terror' has been caught and held undergoing thorough investigation in the Shrine. The mentioned shrine, otherwise called 'correctional council' and its agents assure the general public that they won't enforce jungle Justice on him,” he wrote.
Luck ran out of him as he was caught touring households of displaced people; the victims of the recent crises that erupted between Ibilla and Oju communities- dispossessing them of their cash, phones and other valuables.
“Findings from preliminary investigation may necessitated his handing over to the Police. Maximum security of lives and properties should be our common goal and with our collective effort is achievable. Let's say no to crime to make our society sustainable.
