Mr. Joseph Ayoba, the father of the late artist known as Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Ayoba, has shared details of a distressing dream he had just two days before his son’s tragic demise.

The popular “Ko Por Ke” singer passed away on a Tuesday and was laid to rest in Ikorodu the following day amidst heart-wrenching scenes of mourning from family, friends, and supporters.

In an interview with online blogger @og_baba1 on Wednesday, the grieving father described his relationship with his late son as more of a close friendship than the traditional father-to-son dynamic. He also recounted their final moments together, revealing that they had shared a meal on the preceding Saturday.

Mr. Ayoba affectionately referred to Mohbad as “Oladimeji,” signifying their strong bond. He cherished the close relationship they had.

Reflecting on a troubling dream he had shortly before his son’s passing, Mr. Ayoba disclosed, “I had a dream about him, two days before the incident. In the dream, I saw someone attempting to harm me, and I believed I had narrowly escaped danger. Little did I know that something like this would happen to my beloved son.”

Regarding the circumstances surrounding Mohbad‘s tragic death, Mr. Ayoba mentioned, “According to what I’ve heard from people, although I find it hard to believe, it’s said that an auxiliary nurse administered an injection to him, and that may have contributed to his passing.”

Since Mohbad’s untimely demise, heartfelt tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues in the music industry and his dedicated fans on various social media platforms. His impact on the music world and the lives of those who enjoyed his music remains indelible, ensuring his legacy endures.
