A Nigerian man in the UK has broken down in tears, accusing his wife who he recently relocated from Nigeria of ruining him. In a viral video, the man who appears to be from Edo state said he has been in the UK for 23 years and recently brought his wife to live with him. He claimed his wife turned against him, asked for the marriage to be annuled and thereafter went to report him to the police.
The man who couldn’t stop weeping claimed the police have asked him to move out of his house that he has paid mortgage on over the years and remains just £5000 to pay up. He said he has no home or investment in Nigeria and wonders where he would turn to now.
He however did not state what transpired between himself and his wife and the allegation she laid against him for the police to ask him to move out.
While some Nigerians do not believe his claim and suspect it could be a skit, others argue that such incidents are prevalent abroad where women from Nigeria relocate and turn on their husbands.
